Inquiries are flying in for the inaugural Oceania Laser Masters Championship which will see the fleet take over the Denarau region of Fiji’s main island from the 13th to 19th of October this year.
So far eight countries are set to be represented for the two event regatta which includes the standard and radial rigs. Sailors from Australia, New Zealand, UK, USA, Hawaii, Thailand, Singapore and of course Fiji, are on the entry list to enjoy the tranquil surroundings and epic racing. Continue reading

Report: Oceania and Australian Open Laser Championships 2018
The Open Laser Championships for 2018 were held in Brisbane and hosted by the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron. A total of 175 Lasers competed across 4.7, Radial and Standard rigs in breezes ranging from 6 knots up to 20 knots gusts on windward – leeward courses. The days were hot with mostly good afternoon sea breezes and occasionally the threat of an afternoon thunderstorm. Although sailing was cancelled on one day due to a lack of breeze, eleven of the scheduled twelve races were completed. Continue reading

(1) Applications for entry for the following Laser World Championships will be accepted from Tuesday, 9 January through Tuesday, 20 February:

- 2018 ILCA Laser Under-21 World Championships
- 2018 ILCA Laser 4.7 Youth World Championships
